PS Plus free PS4 games list for October 2020: Vampyr and more
Each month, PS4 and PS4 Pro owners who subscribe to Sony's PlayStation Plus service get to download and play a great selection of free games.
PS Plus is PlayStation's online gaming service, which provides access to multiplayer gaming and other benefits, including money off many digital purchases. It also gives a great line-up of free titles that would usually cost a packet.
A PS Plus subscription usually costs £6.99 per month, £19.99 for three-months or £49.99 for a whole year's worth.

Vampyr
- Available 6 October to 2 November 2020
Yep, it's October and that means the witching season is almost upon us - cue the Halloween themes and spooky shenanigans. For PlayStation Plus, that means you get Vampyr, a decent action RPG from the Life is Strange development studio, Dontnod.
Need for Speed: Payback
- Available 6 October to 2 November 2020
2017's Need for Speed outing offered a bit more variety than most, by giving you control over three different characters who each favour different types of vehicles. Its story sets it apart from most arcade racing titles too.
Last month's games, PUBG and Street Fighter V will still be available to download until 5 October.
