PS Plus free PS5 and PS4 games for June 2022: God of War and more

Each month, PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 owners who subscribe to Sony's PlayStation Plus service get to download and play a great selection of free games.

PS Plus is PlayStation's online gaming service, which provides access to multiplayer gaming and other benefits, including money off many digital purchases. It also gives a great line-up of free titles that would usually cost a packet.

PlayStation 5 owners also get an added bonus of 20 classic PS4 games to play on their next-gen console through the PlayStation Plus Collection.

A PS Plus subscription usually costs £6.99 per month, £19.99 for three-months or £49.99 for a whole year's worth. As of June 2022, two further membership tiers will be added to the service. You can read about them here.

Free PS5 and PS4 games list for June 2022 (rumoured):

Although PlayStation is yet to confirm the latest line-up, Aerajugones claims to have learned what games are to be offered in June. So take this as provisional until we get full confirmation.

On all consoles

These games are available to all PlayStation console owners, they can be downloaded and played on a PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition.

God of War

• Available: From 8 June 2022

Although it's in the PlayStation Plus Collection for PS5 owners already, God of War is also said to be free to all PS Plus members this month.

The action-adventure is one of the PlayStation 4's finest moments and those on PS5 even get enhanced frame rates, up to 60fps. You can read our full review of it here.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

• Available: From 8 June 2022

This online multiplayer battle game takes the Naruto series in a new direction, offering 4v4 team-based arena combat and a few solo missions for good measure.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

• Available: From 8 June 2022

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a Super Smash Bros-style platform fighter but with playable characters that have graced the kids TV channel over the years. That means you can kick SpongeBob SquarePants in the face using Ren and Stimpy. Or give Garfield a good pasting using Reptar from Rugrats. Oh Yes!

On PS5 only

These games are only available to PS Plus members who own a PlayStation 5 or PS5 Digital Edition.

PlayStation Plus Collection for PS5

The PlayStation Plus Collection is a line-up of 19 classic PS4 games available to download and play on PS5 through backward compatibility. In some cases, they will have boosts to the loading times and graphical performance on PS5 (ie. frame rates).
