Finding a good Apple AirPods deal is easier than it used to be, though the appetite for the entire headphone lineup is still feverish.

There are now several models in the headphone lineup to choose between - AirPods (3rd Generation), AirPods (2nd Generation), AirPods Pro and AirPods Max - and significant price reductions are rare, which makes it crucial to snap up any sale price that comes along.

Apple AirPods Pro deals

The top-end of Apple's in-ear options is probably the best pick of the lot. They're the only in-ears from Apple to offer advanced noise-cancelling (ANC), and are finally dipping under the $200 / £200 mark at some retailers after retailing at $249 / £249 since releasing in 2019.

The second-gen AirPods offer very respectable sound quality, hands-free Siri, touch controls and seamless interaction with your iOS devices thanks to the built-in, Apple-designed H1 chip. They don't have the very best sound quality - this is saved for the two other models in the range - but you won't be disappointed.

Apple AirPods 3 deals

Apple's latest version of the standard AirPods move things on from their still-available predecessors and sit just below the AirPods Pro in the company's in-ear lineup. There's a refreshed design, more akin to the Pro model, as well as sweat and water resistance and great battery life.

In our AirPods 3 review, we said: "They aren't the cheapest wireless headphones on the market, and they miss out on the AirPods Pro's silicone tip secure fit and active noise cancellation (ANC), but you get solid battery life, great convenience features, and the extra features like Spatial Audio are well worth it."

Apple AirPods Max deals

Apple's around-ear AirPods are the latest instalment to the lineup, launching in 2020, and are comfortably the most expensive. After initially retailing for $549 / £549, the headphones have now come down slightly, with most offering them below the $500 / £500 mark.
