Nintendo Direct E3 2021: How to watch the Nintendo Switch showcase

Nintendo will stream a new presentation during E3 2021 on Tuesday 15 June.

The showcase will be focused on software only (no Switch Pro, sadly) - mainly titles coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.

There are also rumours that we could see something on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Here's when it starts and other information.

When does the Nintendo Direct E3 2021 presentation start?

The pre-recorded stream will be first broadcast at 9am PT on Tuesday 15 June 2021. Here are the times for your location:

  • West Coast US: 9am PT
  • East Coast US: 12pm ET
  • UK: 5pm BST
  • Central Europe: 6pm CEST

How to watch the new Nintendo Direct

We hope to host it right here at the top of this page closer the time.

It will also be available through Nintendo UK's YouTube channel.

What to expect

The presentation will focus on Nintendo Switch games mostly coming in 2021. There will be no new console nor hardware news.

It will run for approximately 40-minutes. Afterwards, a Nintendo Treehouse livestream will show gameplay and developer deep dives on some of the games for around three hours. This usually takes place on the show floor at E3, but with the event being virtual this year it will likely be from Nintendo of America's offices instead.
