iPhone 12 price and pre-orders: How much do Apple's iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max cost?

Apple has announced four new phones in the iPhone 12 family - the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Generally, these replace and update the iPhone 11 models, although the standard iPhone 11 will still be available.

New to the range is a smaller device, called the iPhone 12 mini. This will fulfill the demand for a high-end yet smaller phone that we've seen with the mid-range iPhone SE (2nd generation). And, while the iPhone SE is 4.7-inches, the iPhone 12 mini is a 5.4-inch device and fits the design of the rest of the family.

All the new iPhone 12 series handsets are 5G phones.

iPhone 12, 12 mini and 12 Pro release dates

Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro open on 16 October, with shipping from 23 October.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max open on 6 November with shipping from 13 November.

The staggered dates would appear to be due to production delays Apple has suffered this year due to the current global situation.

AT&T says its pre-order will start at 5pm PT on 10/16. Learn more.

T-Mobile will have iPhone 12 Pro from 10/16 and iPhone 12 Pro Max from 11/6. See more details.

iPhone 12 UK networks

EE will offer the full iPhone 12 line-up - iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini. All will be available on EE's recently-announced Full Works Plan for iPhone. Register for updates from EE. 

O2 has confirmed it will be ranging all the new handsets, with pricing yet to be confirmed. Register for details from O2.

Sky Mobile's prices starting from £34 a month for the iPhone 12 with 4GB with no upfront costs. You can also get £30 off Apple AirPods by pre-ordering. Sky will also offer the iPhone 12 mini from £30 a month with 4GB with no upfront costs, and from £45 a month for the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 4GB with no upfront costs. Three has confirmed it will be adding the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max to its range. Pricing is yet to be confirmed. Register for details from Three. 

Vodafone will also range the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The network has confirmed the phones will all be available on Vodafone’s Unlimited data plans, with 5G at no extra cost. And with Vodafone’s Annual Upgrade Promise you can trade-in at any time.
