Gamescom is Germany's biggest annual videogames convention and, like so many others this year, it is running as a virtual show this year.
It kicked off last night, Thursday 27 August, with an Opening Night Live presentation - a two-hour show hosted by The Game Awards' Geoff Keighley that debuted some games and revealed more info on others.
So here is what was launched, plus a chance to watch it all on catch-up.
How to watch Gamescom 2020 Opening Night Live again
You can watch the entire two-hour show (plus 30 minute pre-show) at the top of this page.
Alternatively, you can watch it on The Game Awards YouTube channel.
What was launched?
There were a stack of games trailers that debuted during Opening Night Live. Here are some of the highlights.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Season 2
The smash hit of the summer will get a second season of content, including new rounds and new costumes. It'll be available in just over a month's time (according to the in-game countdown).
Star Wars: Squadrons
We got a look at the single-player story, with the announcement that you will play as both a Rebel fighter and Empire Tie-Fighter pilot. There were some great gameplay snippets shown too.
Dragon Age 4
It still doesn't have a full name yet, and is still relatively early in development, but here's a look at some of the concept art and design themes, as explained by the developers themselves.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
The worldwide reveal trailer was posted the day before ONL, but a further cinematic trailer was saved for the show. It extends the briefing section, showing the extraordinary detailing on bring ex-US president Ronald Reagan back to life.
Mafia: Definitive Edition
The from-the-ground-up remake of Mafia isn't far from release now (25 September) so we get a great view of gameplay and cinematics in this latest trailer. Anyone who's played the original will tell you that it's arguably the best in the trilogy, so we cannot wait for this.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
While there have techincally been Lego games centred on the Star Wars trilogies before, this is a brand new take on the entire nine film run. It's coming in 2021 and looks very funny, to boot.
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part One
The first major DLC campaign expansion will be released on 20 October. It'll be available at no extra cost if you own the Year One Pass or Deluxe Edition of the original game.
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond
EA's Medal of Honor franchise returns in the form of a VR game from Titanfall developer Respawn.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
First shown during the PS5 games showcase event this summer, the new Ratchet & Clank will be one of the PlayStation 5's first big exclusive titles. Here's seven-and-a-half minutes of new gameplay footage.
There are several other games shown in the main ONL presentation, including Unknown9: Awakening, so check that out above too.
You can follow all of the goings on at Gamescom 2020 on its dedicated homepage here.
