How to watch the new Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase video presentation

Nintendo will stream a new Direct presentation Monday, 20 July 2020. It's calling the bite-sized presentation, which is apparently going to last around 10 minutes, a Nintendo Direct Mini, subtitled as a Partner Showcase.

The video is expected to run through some more details (and possible give release dates) for a few games from third-part publishers that are coming to the Nintendo Switch. That means there's unlikely to be any news of big Nintendo releases like any forthcoming Pokémon games or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Although there isn't yet a livestream set up, we've got all the details available on the video right here.

When does the Nintendo Direct Mini start?

The pre-recorded stream will be first broadcast at 3.00pm GMT today.

Here are the local times for you to put in your diary:

  • West Coast US: 7.00am PT
  • East Coast US: 10.00am ET
  • UK: 3.00pm GMT
  • Central Europe: 4.00pm CET

How to watch the new Nintendo Direct Mini

The show will run for around 10 minutes and we'd expect it to be on YouTubelike previous editions. Once Nintendo has set it up, we'll be embedding the video at the top of this story, so you can come back here to watch it.

It will also be available on the Nintendo Direct site and through Nintendo UK's YouTube channel.

What to expect

There are a few things that could come up in this video, but what we know is that it should be all about third-party games. That means it could touch on games like Bravely Default II or Doom Eternal (which still hasn't actually appeared on the Switch). There are a host of other anticipated games, including Hollow Knight: Silksong and No More Heroes III, so we're excited to see what Nintendo has in store for us.
