Xbox One free Games with Gold for July 2020: WRC 8 and more
Every month, Xbox One gamers can download and play a selection of free games as part of an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Xbox Live Gold is more than just free games though. It also gives Xbox One X, Xbox One S or even original Xbox One owners the chance to play their games online and discounts on many digital games on the Xbox Store.
Membership in the UK usually costs £17.99 for three-months or £49.99 for a whole year's membership when paid up front. Alternatively, you can choose to pay monthly for £6.99 a month.
In our opinion though, the best way to subscribe is through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. For just £10.99 per month, you get Xbox Live Gold membership, Xbox Game Pass with access to over 200 games to download and play, plus Xbox Game Pass for PC with more than 100 Windows 10 titles.

WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship
- Available 1 to 31 July 2020
Yet another rally game available as part of Xbox Games with Gold, but this simulation is tougher and more involving than most. It features more than 50 racing teams. 14 rallies and over 100 stages, so you get plenty of action at no extra cost.
Dunk Lords
- Available 16 July to 15 August 2020
Think NBA Jam but jacked-up even more. Dunk Lords is a two-v-two basketball game with outlandish characters and special abilities. Fun for couch or online play, with a story mode for good measure.
Saints Row 2
- Available 1 to 15 July 2020
Strangely enough, Saints Row started as a (mostly) serious GTA rival but soon descended into the crazy antics of today. Saints Row 2 is a crossover chapter - slightly more grounded than The Third, but with some "interesting" enemies.
Juju
- Available 16 to 31 July 2020
Cute 2D platformer Juju looks as good running in backward compatibility as it would do as a native Xbox One game.
Saints Row 2 and Juju are Xbox 360 games, available through backward compatibility. They are also available to Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Live Gold.
Of last month's free games, the Coffee Talk will still be available for download until 15 July 2020.
