Xbox One free Games with Gold for June 2020: Shantae and more
Every month, Xbox One gamers can download and play a selection of free games as part of an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Xbox Live Gold is more than just free games though. It also gives Xbox One X, Xbox One S or even original Xbox One owners the chance to play their games online and discounts on many digital games on the Xbox Store.
Membership in the UK usually costs £17.99 for three-months or £49.99 for a whole year's membership when paid up front. Alternatively, you can choose to pay monthly for £6.99 a month.
In our opinion though, the best way to subscribe is through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. For just £10.99 per month, you get Xbox Live Gold membership, Xbox Game Pass with access to over 200 games to download and play, plus Xbox Game Pass for PC with more than 100 Windows 10 titles.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
- Available 1 to 30 June 2020
The Shantae platformer series will soon get another entry in the form of Shantae and the Seven Sirens (which is currently exclusive to Apple Arcade but coming soon to console). In the meantime, you can catch up with her 2014 adventure Pirate's Curse.
Coffee Talk
- Available 16 June to 15 July 2020
Coffee Talk is an interesting visual novel about having a chat over a cup of coffee. It is simple, innovative and relaxing - ideal for the current lockdown situation.
Destroy All Humans!
- Available 1 to 15 June 2020
A remastered version of this original Xbox classic is in the pipeline but you can check out the initial release for free.
Sine Mora
- Available 16 to 30 June 2020
This sideways scrolling shoot-em-up is a real blast of the past, but with modern themes and graphics.
Destroy All Humans! and Sine Mora are original Xbox and Xbox 360 games respectively, available through backward compatibility. They are also available to Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Live Gold.
Of last month's free games, the Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will still be available for download until 15 June 2020.
