Google Stadia Pro free games for March 2020: Grid and more
Stadia Pro members don't only get up to 4K HDR video streaming and 5.1 sound, they also get free games each month as part of their subscription.
Since launch, Pro members have received Destiny 2: The Collection, Farming Simulator 19, Gylt, Metro Exodus, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, Samurai Shodown, Thumper, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - all as part of the £8.99/$9.99 monthly fee.
Three new free games have now been announced, so here are March 2020's titles you can play on the Stadia cloud gaming platform at no extra cost.
Grid
- Available from 1 March 2020
Codemasters most recent racing game takes the incredible physics engine used in its Dirt and F1 titles, but pops it into a more arcade setting. The end result is a racer that isn't quite as tough on the simulation stakes, but great fun nonetheless.
SteamWorld Dig 2
- Available from 1 March 2020
SteamWorld Dig 2 is a great 2D platformer/action-adventure, with an enormous amount of depth and surprises. It mixes puzzle solving, resource gathering and combat together to provide something both retro and fresh in feel - unless you've played the first, of course.
SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech
- Available from 1 March 2020
Set in the same world as Dig but a markedly different type of game, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a card-based role-player that has a Final Fantasy feel about it.
