Zomboat!
- Where: ITV2 (ITV Hub)
- When: Starts on 8 October
A zombie apocalypse and the West Midlands might seen like strange bedfellows when it comes to sitcom subject matter, but if you've ever visited The Merry Hill Shopping Centre on a Saturday afternoon, you won't blink twice. Set partly on a canal barge - hence the boat in the title - the new series should be great for those who love Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland.
Mr Robot
- Where: Amazon Prime Video
- When: Season four starts on 7 October
All great things must come to an end and such is the case with Mr Robot. The fourth and final season starts on Amazon Prime Video this week, with episodes available every seven days until the long-awaited conclusion. We're already welling up at the thought.
Ma
- Where: Rakuten TV
- When: Available to buy now
Directed by The Girl on the Train's Tate Taylor, this horror-thriller stars Octavia Spencer (Bad Santa 2, The Shape of Water) as Sue Ann, the eponymous "Ma", who offers her home to local teenagers as a party venue but clearly has a more sinister motive.
Head Hunters
- Where: BBC One (BBC iPlayer)
- When: Starts on 7 October
New BBC daytime quiz show Head Hunters is hosted by comedian Rob Beckett and asks contestants whether they want to attempt to go for a jackpot solo or enlist the help of others - hence the head hunting.
Celebrity Coach Trip
- Where: E4 (All 4)
- When: Starts on 7 October
A coach-load of celebrities once again embarks on a 10-day tour, this time of the Mediterranean, as couples are voted off the bus each day until we get down to a winning duo. Famous travellers this time include Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison and the Higgins sisters from 90s pop band Cleopatra.
And one for the kids...
Revolting Rhymes
- Where: Amazon Prime Video
- When: Available now
Roald Dahl's twisted take on famous nursery Rhymes were made into two short films which you and the family can enjoy as part of an Amazon Prime Video subscription. Classic characters from Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and many others appear in these funny animated adventures.
