Samsung Galaxy Note 10 release date, specs, features and rumours
The Samsung Galaxy Note series is one of the best smartphone ranges out there. It combines great design with great performance, offering pretty much everything you need or want from a smartphone.
The Galaxy Note 9 is an excellent device but Samsung didn't change much on the design front compared to the Note 8. Does that mean the Galaxy Note 10 will shake things up? Here's what we want to see, coupled with all the rumours surrounding the 2019 device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 isn't likely to arrive until August 2019. We'd expect an announcement within the first couple of weeks, with availability starting towards the middle of the month, assuming Samsung follows the same release pattern as the Note 9.
A report originally claimed 10 August, but this seems unlikely given 10 August is a Saturday. A second report suggests 7 August though, which is more plausible.
The Galaxy Note 9 was announced on 9 August, hitting shelves with a starting price of £899 on 24 August. It's unlikely the Note 10 will be any cheaper.

Galaxy Note 10 rumours: What's happened?
28 June 2019: Leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ pics show massive generational leap
SlashLeaks posted some hands on pictures of what is claimed to be the Galaxy Note 10+ from Tech Talk TV showing a device with barely any bezel, a punch hole camera in the centre at the top of the display and what seems to be a triple camera in a horizontal format on the back of the device.
If legitimate, the Note 10 looks like it will offer a massive generation leap compared to the Note 9.
19 June 2019: New report suggests Samsung Note 10 will launch on 7 August
CNET has reported that sources familiar with the matter have said the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will launch on 7 August at the Brooklyn Centre in New York.
Previous reports claimed 10 August but given 10 August is a Saturday, we find 7 August more believable. Nothing is confirmed as yet though.
11 June 2019: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could launch 10 August
ET News has reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will launch on 10 August. It also claimed there would be 5G and 4G LTE variants of the models, along with a 6.28-inch screen for the Note 10 and 6.75-inch screen for the Note 10 Pro.
The Korean site also reported that there would be 12GB of RAM on board and the Samsung Galaxy S10's Infinity O display, but the front camera is expected to be centralised at the top of the display, rather than positioned in the top right.
10 June 2019: Contradicting rumours suggest no 45W charging
Despite previous rumours suggesting the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 would come with 45W fast charging other sources have now claimed the Note 10 would offer 25W fast charging, like the current Note 9.
7 June 2019: Note 10 render shows triple camera, quad camera reserved for Note 10 Pro
Leaker Ice Universe shared a render of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, created by OnLeaks and 91 Mobiles, showing a triple rear camera in a vertical format, along with a punch hole camera on the front at the top of the display in the centre.
Ice Universe claims the render shows the smaller Note 10 model, adding that the larger model is said to be called the Note 10 Pro and that it will add a ToF camera to the rear camera setup, resulting in a quad camera as other rumours have suggested.
4 June 2019: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 appears on Geekbench
Two Samsung Galaxy Note 10 variants appeared on Geekbench with the model numbers SM-N976V and SM-N976B. The first model's specs include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855, 12GB of RAM and Android Pie. The second model appears to have an Exynos 9825 chipset with 8GB of RAM.
It is thought both will be 5G enabled with the former set for the Verizon network in the US.
2 June 2019: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could have 45W charging
A cryptic tweet from Ice Universe shows an image of Leonardo Di Vinci, coupled with a lightning bolt and the number 101101. The Galaxy Note 10 is said to be codenamed Da Vinci and 101101 translates to 45 in decimal as GSM Arena figured out.
It is therefore suggested the leakster has suggested the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with 45W fast charging in the image.
30 May 2019: Further reports suggest buttonless design for Note 10
Android Police has claimed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could come in two sizes and neither will feature the 3.5mm headphone jack or any physical buttons, supporting a previous rumour from ET News in March 2019.
The site claims the buttons will be replaced with textured capacitive or touch-sensitive areas instead.
24 May 2019: Renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 appear online
Phone Arena created some renders of what it expects the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to look like based on rumours.
Based on the renders, the Note 10 is suggested to have a punch hole front camera in the middle of the display at the top and a quad camera on the rear in a vertical array. The renders show all ports and buttons still present though - something that has been questioned in the rumours.
25 April 2019: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with a 5G model
Verizon's CEO, Hans Vestberg confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will have a 5G model.
The comments were made during a quarterly earnings call, where he stated: "The Note and the Galaxy coming this year will both have 5G."
5 April 2019: Larger Note 10 could get quad camera
Korean website, The Bell, claimed the larger model of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will have a quad camera, while the smaller model will have a triple camera. The site also supported previous claims that one of the Note 10 models will have a 6.75-inch screen.
1 April 2019: Two models of Note 10 rumoured
Korean media have reported that Samsung is working on two models of a completely redesigned Note 10. The information comes from sources in the supply chain and one model is said to have a 6.7-inch display, as has been rumoured before, but the other size was not detailed.
26 March 2019: Buttonless design for Note 10?
ETNews reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might feature a "keyless" or "buttonless" design, ditching the power, volume and Bixby buttons for touch or gesture controls. No further details were provided however.
7 March 2019: Renders appear of Note 10 based on preliminary information
PhoneArena published some renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, said to be based entirely on preliminary information. The renders show a quad-camera on the rear, coupled with a dual punch hole camera on the front.
There is no fingerprint sensor to be seen, suggesting it will be under the display like the Samsung Galaxy S10 devices. As you would expect, the renders also show the built-in S Pen and a dual curved display.
16 October 2018: Note 10 screen to increase
The Bell reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will increase its display size to 6.66-inches, which is 0.26-inches larger than the Note 9. This would make sense given the Galaxy S10+ is now 6.4-inches, treading on Note territory.
We'd expect the display to be an Super AMOLED panel with HDR compatibility and at least a Quad HD+ resolution.
15 October 2018: Note 10 might drop 3.5mm headphone jack
MySmartPrice reported that a South Korean publication has claimed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might ditch the 3.5mm headphone port in favour of USB Type-C. Apparently the information came from an "insider", though no further information was given.
