Free PS4 games for July 2019: PS Plus games to download
Each month, PS4 and PS4 Pro owners who subscribe to Sony's PlayStation Plus service get to download and play a great selection of free games.
PS Plus is PlayStation's online gaming service, which provides access to multiplayer gaming and other benefits, including money off many digital purchases. It also gives a great line-up of free titles that would usually cost a packet.
A PS Plus subscription usually costs £6.99 per month, £19.99 for three-months or £49.99 for a whole year's worth. You can also find some amazing deals online.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019
- Available from 2 July to 1 August 2019
PES 2019 might not have had its fair share of attention last year, in comparison with FIFA, but it is a mighty fine football game and now you can find out why. It's become an eSports fave too, with a vibrant online community of players waiting for you to test your skills against.
Horizon Chase Turbo
- Available from 2 July to 1 August 2019
A retro love letter to the arcade driving games of the 80s and 90s, Horizon Chase Turbo supports single and split-screen multiplayer racing (for up to four players) across 109 different tracks. There are 31 unlockable cars to drive and you can race against ghosts in order to set new times for an updated leaderboard.
Please note: PS Plus no longer supports PS3 nor PS Vita.
Since 8 March 2019, PS Plus has only provided free game downloads for PS4.
